Stampin'Up! Regional Event September 13th 2008

Yes, don't fall off your chair! I finally downloaded my photos tonight from last weekend so I can publish them here!! The pink card on the left is 3 little cupcakes made from the tab punch. You fold them in half. I then punched doublesided paper for the top of the cake to look like 100's 1000's and highlighted some of them with crystal effects and dazzling diamonds. Thanks for your great idea Sherylee!
The surfing santa is a slider card using the word window punch. A bit complex to explain but I think it was on Tami White's blog that Annette told me about. Thanks Netty!
The scrapbooking page was made using the spiral punch. Love that punch. I stamped the letters using versamark on basic black cardstock and the big deal alphabet and cut them out. The embellishments were also made from punches - the scallop punch. You punch out the image then stick onto a post-it note and punch it again. I used the black journal pen along the left and bottom side to journal about this day.
The scallop card was made using doublesided paper. A circle is punched out using the 1 3/8 punch, then the slit punch is used to create the scallop.
The other scalloped image was a boo boo! I was a bit tired and grabbed the 1 1/4 circle punch and the slit punch wouldn't fit!!! So I punched another circle and then trimmed it a bit to make a little mini album! Cherita pointed out if you were trying to do this you could use a tab punch and it would be a lot easier! Very true and I will try this now I liked the outcome! I decorated the spring flowers paper with the 1/2 pearls from the fab Pretties kit, stick them on with crystal effects.
The other card with the fish from the Life's a Breeze I used the slit punch again to make the waves. I've used crystal effects to make the fish glisten which you can't see here.
Well, hope you are still awake! If you would like more info, or would like to order any of the things I've talked about then please leave me a post!
