MMM TWO

Hi. Just a quick one as I'm meant to be asleep! We are heading off to Broome tomorrow and I think I've packed everything!! So no MMM tomorrow, hence my post now.
Well last week we farewelled a fellow scrapper and also one of my downline. Terri, we will miss you. Scrapping on a Friday morning is our therapy session - we seem to take it in turns to come in in tears! It's been great getting to know you. See you in the big smoke soon!

This is Annette on the left and her son Jack. Net is also in my team and has just turned 40!! Woohoo! She's gonna kill me for this.... Terri is on the right with a gorgeous photo she received.

And here is the scrap page I started as part of a sketch challenge moons ago!! This is the one the grasshoppers ate! Anyway its done except for the journalling! Night and chat soon.

MMM

Well what can I say. Its Easter Monday, I finally have a child free day and so does Paul! I've gorged myself on chocolate. There's coronas chilling, lemon ready to go!! I've started a new design for my convention swaps so have really achieved quite a bit.
I am working tomorrow, doing some catch up after the after math of the last stressful month. Next Monday I will be kicking back in Broome at the Palm Grove Hotel with my good mate- Helen and her 3 kids and my 2 kids....Bring it on I say.
Well that's it for me. I should have something to post tomorrow.
Amy comments left between now and Wednesday midnight will go into the draw to win a free stamp set so leave me a message!

Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone. Hope you are having a very nice day. I saw on Makeesha Byl's website a sketch challenge which I decided I would do. Since then my computer crashed - literally on the floor. I did the challenge, left it on the table and went to bed thinking I'd finish it in the morning. When I got back to it the next day I was stunned to see some strange marks!! Can you see them? We have had quite amazing rainfalls a month or more back resulting in mass plagues of grass hoppers! I can only think that these are the culprit as I also had lavender lilac and basic black cardstock out too. Obviously the creamy caramel was more suited to their diet - I guess it does look like dried grass a bit lol!! So I decided to keep the layout and write on the back about the pesky lil 'hoppers! These grasshoppers have kept the Pilbara kids fully entertained as they catch them, (keep them in tissue boxes after I rescued my good tupperware thankyou very much!!) then release them or forget them and rediscover them dead. The other thing we have lots of at the moment is big fat hairy huntsmen spiders! Every night before bed I'm having to do the spider patrol. One night I tried to catch one, failed after it jumped at me and I resorted to spraying it. Then it disappeared - dammit! That was it, Colby refused to sleep in this room. I'll post the finished layout later tonight.

MMM

Well its nearly Wednesday and I am doing my first Monday madness post. That should say it all really! Computer issues after my computer fell off the computer desk arrghhhh! Thanks Paul for putting it back together f or me :). We went to a free Easter egg hunt at a local park. There was face painting, bouncy castles, hair spraying - I had mine sprayed green which the kids loved! The hunt itself was really quite hard. The park is quite big and they used golf tees as its still pretty warm during the day here. Colby tried his absolute best but couldn't find one until the organisers ended up putting out a second lot of tees! Phew.
Apart from that, a lot of personal issues I've been having persist which is making life challenging. I've been off work for nearly two weeks now and there has been lots of progress in many areas with myself and my children so its been worth it. There is still a long hard road to go but I feel lucky in that I have my beautiful kids, an understanding boss and some bloody fantastic friends.

Some more cards

Yes its me again! I'm having a blogging frenzy! Underneath (to the left) are the Stamparoos Card Swaps that are in the mail! Thihs challenge was a masculine card. The base of these were simple enough using the fantastic Stampin'up! square punches but the letters I had to cut individually and it was a bit of a big job for me.

Next we have the Easter projects that I cased off the Splitcoast stampers!! They were fun and pretty easy to make too. The basket it actually too baskets taped together and then blinged up. The carrot is printed onto your cardstock, cut out and scored!
I have extra of these left over so if you want to purchase either or both of these projects please email me at home or message me through here. $5 per project and will include a stamped image from the Good egg set for you to use. Bye for now!
