I'M Back!!!

Well, its been a long time between posts and I must apologise. Life is just so busy!! Well Christmas was lovely and Karratha saw some rain late in the evening which was nice. The kids liked their pressies too.
I took the kids to Coral Bay for four nights which they loved. The trip down was not so much fun but..the weather was awesome and I met some lovely people down there. The evenings were spent relaxing watching the kids run amok with lots of other kids! Now they've gone to Perth and I'm at work, trying to catch up on some jobs and keeping myself generally very busy.
Well, as far as stamping and scrapping goes I still have a lot of unfinished projects...However have just agreed to make a 100 wedding invites, so the other stuff will remain unfinished for a bit longer!
This month is also the start of Sale-a-bration for Stampin'Up! If you spend $100 you get to pick one of four free stamp sets, for every $100 you spend. If you host your own party and sales reach $600, the hostess receives a free set.

Can't believe that Christmas is really so close. About this time I start to panic and think - I haven't bought enough presents....Well, maybe I could start making some more Christmas cards!!!! I've actually had a real spurt in the last 3 days, now Kate is over her tonsilitis and I haven't had to sleep during the day just to drag my sorry ass around the house. I think Colby has it too now as was complaining of a headache and tried to put himself to bed at Uncle Steven's house??!! Very strange behaviour.
So for me, its nights tomorrow night and the next and then Christmas party, drinks, tupperware party, drinks and more work...

Hi again....Yes its me for 2 days running. Big day of travel today down to Bunbury to see a friend and up to Mandurah to catch up with more ex Karrathians. Great to catch up on all the fun times and we had and see what everyone has been up to.
No I'm at some other friends Jean and Bruce in Safety Bay and its freezing cold. What would winter me like??
I'm so looking forward to getting home and seeing the kids now.Just gotta work out how to get my shopping home!

Holidays...

Well, here I am totally slcak. Haven't posted a single thing in so long as my life has involved running from one project to the next...Thankfully the house is all settled now and I already feel better, less stressed and miracously my need to comfort eat at night has stopped, resulting in a couple of kilo weight loss.Yeah baby!!!
So, here I am in Perth. Been on several MAJOR shopping sprees - and I do mean major. Bought some Chrissie pressies and new clothes and lamps and .....
Also have several new plans to put into place regarding my life and where it will be going family wise and professionally.
I'm off to Bunbury tomorrow and back up to Mandurah for a get together Friday night. Then a big one in Northbridge Saturday night and home to Karratha.
Have been missing home like crazy and the kids and can't wait to get home again.

Hello. Well I did try and post yesterday but the photo I uploaded was sideways and it wouldn't go the way I wanted it so I deleted the bloody thing.

Had gastro (or don't ever eat my lamb shanks!!) not sure which is was but it was enough to keep me running to the loo for 24 hours. Maybe I'm under 70kg now :) Gotta look for the upside here!!

Had a pretty good week with the kids. Colby got an honour certificate for writing to 109! He is also reading just about anything now so has really progressed. He seems to have stopped complaining of headaches and stomaches for now too. Kate did complain today that she had a backache, no stomache, no backache!!! She's had another ear infection in her right ear and the grommet is out. Am wondering whether she will need it replaced at some point...

This week I have a party at the Arts and Learning Centre and also a card making session at Arts and Everything Thursday, oh and a kids scrap and card class Saturday arvo. Plus I am finalising some data collection for the Better Beginnings program at Roebourne Thursday. God, when will I sleep!!

Today I am cooking cabbage rolls and have made oat slice for the kids. Mandy you are an inspiration to me. Hope your trip went well...

Hello. Its been a few days and I still haven't posted new photos....Decided that there was stuff that just had to be done, like filling out the forms for the sale of Church Way, Centrelink...blah blah.So I spent about 3 hours Sunday arvo filling out forms. So I'm all up to date and broke again!!
Stampin'Up! have released a stamp set "All in the Family". These proceeds will go direct to David Abbott's family, the general manager who recently passed away.
The stamp set is meant to be sold at $73 but I will sell it for 20% off that plus postage...All my profits for the set will go to his family too. Well, gotta go as dinner nearly done and going out to a talk on anaphylaxis (severe allergic response!)
Must say I've decided to be organised this week and shopped and planned for all my meals. Dragged out the slow cooker and made a chicken dish. Hope to hell the kids will eat it. Also been ona health kick. I took my whole Santa choccy stash to antenatal classes on Saturday!! I've been eating salads and stuff. I feel pretty good. Let you know when I fall below 70kg (my goal)!!!!

Good morning!! Well night duty is over again and its 845am. I had to drag my sorry ass out of bed when the alarm when off just then. Of course I bounded out of bed - not! Can't risk having a huge sleep again like a few weeks ago. It just was a nightmare.
So, I am looking at the aftermath of lastnight's Christmas card workshop. I'll post the photos later. People seemed to really enjoy themselves. I know I did. Hopefully people will now be more inspired to make their own cards this year.
Well, gotta go. Now I'm awake I can see a million things to do today!!
