Hello. I can't believe its over 2 months since I last blogged. So much has happened in that time. I have just got back into some scrapping and am happy to post a picture here. You can't really see the fabulous butterfly on her face but it was the BEST!! Yesterday I started sorting out all my cardstock after getting some inspiration from Splitcoast Stampers. I have a massive pile of stuff for preprimary and I still haven't finished sorting it yet. Once its done its gonna make life so much easier!

I'm Back
Hello. Well I sorta disappeared off the face of the earth there for a while but I am here. I've packed up all my house, the truck left Wednesday afternoon for Perth. My house has been painted inside and looks amazing. Just waiting for the flooring to be done - next week and I'm ready to move in.
I've decided to stop off in Exmouth though on the way outta Karratha on December 18 as I think it would be nice for the kids and to have some relaxing time too. I really just want to get to Perth and get the boxes unpacked but the kids won't be that into that I'm sure...So we hit Perth December 22nd at this point. I will have company for the drive down too as Amy has an appointment in Perth. It will be great to have some company and the kids will like it too. As you could imagaine I really haven't done much in the way of scrapping or card making except at Friday scrapping last week. I kept some stuff with me so need to finish off Christmas cards and teachers gifts, etc.
Well, that's it for now.

Checking in!!
Hello out there. Hope you are all well and surviving the school holidays. The weather in Perth has been awesome. The first 2 days were chilly but now its glorious spring days. Big biy has been going to Tball each day for 4 hours this week so that has given me some time to get into the house stuff.
So today I stripped off some more wallpaper, had a painter visit for a quote. Finally have given up on the other 3 walls in my room and am going to hire a steamer from Kennards. It is horrible old vinly wall paper that has been glued down with god knows what. I've tried all sorts of commercial preps recommended by pro painters and the general public!! So wish me luck with that one tomorrow!! Nighty night.

Thankyou!
A big thankyou to the people who stopped and by and left me some comments over the last day or so! It was so nice to hear from you. Today I've been to the tip, cleaned the inside of my car.
Just waiting til this arvo to do the outside. Also lots of washing so I can pack for our road trip on Tuesday.

As pr
omised, some photos of cards. My favourite set at the moment would have to be Holiday Lineup. Here I've used some retired DSP that I still adore, punched out a very big red circle and added m
y stamped image. You can't see very clearly here but I also added some dazzling diamonds using my crystal effects.
A green galore circle would be nice too.. The blue card is a CASE from our Demonstrator swap which has been a very useful resource.
These cards (triangle trees) are CASED from Bren
da Wand who is also a Stampin'Up Demonstrator. I haven't quite finished these as there is no sentiment on them but they were nice and simple and fun to make. A great way to use up those left over bits of DSP we all have floating around.
Pop a dimensional underneath the trees.

The ruby red and real red cards are cased from Maryanne Johnston but I have used a different punch along the bottom and missed out on some of the other features she used. Again I've used the Holiday Lineup and the scallop flower punch with the circle to create the spotlight effect.
And finally, a card I made for my dear dad using the Sense of Time stamp set. I have used the Parisian Breeze DSP from the spring mini and its devine. Quite thick and textured. I have used bleach to stamp onto choc chip and creamy caramel card stock. To finish it off I have added something from the hodgepodge hardware. Well that's me done! Now i'm off for a few weeks so I won't be posting anything. But please stop by soon. I promise to post again!
